Stuck on the bottle

OK, so I swear he's going to be stuck on the bottle til he's full grown! He LOVES his bottle! For a minute I thought he'd never eat cat food, but he's finally got that down and loves that too. I can stop him dead in his tracks when he's going bonkers when I show him his bottle. He knows what time it is. Here he is at bedtime. Bud is feeding him. Notice the ears. I swears he's going to fly away any minute.

Here he is after his bath. He's actually really good when it comes to having a bath. I had to take the blow dryer to him for a minute though because he got really cold and started shaking. He's so cute. ok so once again, Son has gotten into yet another thing. He found his way into the pantry. I tell ya, it's never ending.

Crazy Kitty in Action

Here he is doing his hoppidy hop! He's so funny. It's not his best because I think he knew we were filming him. But oh my gosh, he has us dying laughing all the time! He just thinks he's so big and vicious. His tail puffs up all fuzzy and his back is almost always in an arch. He kills us. Check it out. Again, it's not his best, but you can see it a little.

Just this weekend

Here's just another picture I took of Bud being manly. He was having to fix the washer and dryer cause of...Oh I don't know what it was. We thought something was wrong, but everything is working just fine now!

My Birthday was a few days ago and Bud was such a cute hubby and brought me home flowers and the sweetest card ever. It's so had for him to try and get me anything because there isn't ever anything I want (or I just get it myself), so that was so perfect!


Ok, so Son (AKA Gizmo) has entered toddler kitty stage and is going bonkers! He is always running around, attacking our legs, loves hanging out on our feet, and his new thing has been getting into everything! He has managed to get into the shoe basket, bathroom garbage can, Bud's dresser drawer and...the fridge! He's nuts! He's got such a cute personality. He has us laughing all the time.






HAHA, ok, this is just my husband. Leave it to him to play with the chicken.

Car shopping!

So I just got a call from my insurance company and they told me my car is a total loss. So it looks like I'm going to be shopping around for a new car! We are excited about it, however we aren't looking forward to the payments. So we'll have to shop used unfortunetly. But hey, with what we believe we'll get from my car, it will be a nice down payment on a nice, newer used car, so at least the payments won't be too much. New car pictures might be posted soon!

Ode to my manly husband!

OK, so I don't have too many on here right now because I'm at work and only have so many on my camera. But I wanted to just show everyone how manly he is and all the different things he's so great at. I know I only have two different kinds here, but there will be more to come! This is just a little piece of who he is. I'm so lucky to be married to like 10 guys in one! He can do anything! He's so wonderful and I am truly blessed to have him in my life and to have him as a husband. I secure knowing that there is so many things he and I can do together (or he can just do) so we don't have to pay someone to everything. It's a blessing! So here is some pictures of him putting in a floor for a friends friend and also helping his dad lay the mow strip at his parents house!

So since I'm still fairly new at this blogging thing, I've been trying to figure everything out and learn how to add new fun things and such. So...I just figured out how to add a new background and I'm so excited cause there are so many cute ones and now I know how to do it! This is going to be even more fun!

Something Secret

So I'm really kinda bummed right now because I want to blog about something, but because I told my family about my blog, I can't talk about it now, just in case they read it. What a super bummer, cause I use my blog as my journal (in a public manner however) and now that I can't write about it, I'm irritated. It's just the situation for the reason I don't want to mention anything. I'm sure I've totally lost some of you at this point, except maybe Diana. She might be able to figure what I'm talking about. I told her the other day as a friend to friend secret cause I had to tell someone and since Tanya is no longer with me anymore, I needed to tell someone my fun secret!
Ok, I just needed to vent a little. I feel a little better already. I'll be posting more later today. I have pictures of Bud doing manly work. He just finished someones floor the other day and so I decided to gather together the pics I have of him recently doing some of his manly things he loves to do. It should be fun. Although, now that I think about it, I wish I had some of him welding. Dang! Oh well, I'll get some eventually, but that would have been great for my Ode-to-Bud blog!

Crash, bang!

OK, so I got on the freeway to drive home from work and some jerk decides to cut me off when there was barely any room to do so. Before he did this, traffic in front of me was moving, about the speed I was going which was around 30mph. Once he cut me off I couldn't see in front of him because he was in a "no windowed" van. He then merged over to the next lane and I looked up to see the cars in front of me at a dead stop! I slammed on my brakes, but it was too late. I slammed into the car in front of me and she bumped into the car in front of her. Those two cars had very minimal damage. Mine on the other hand....well, just take a look for yourself.





I can hardly open my driver door, both my blinker lights were dangling so the officer took them off and my poor front end, well, looks like that. Luckly, I am perfectly ok and my airbags didn't employ thanks to me slamming on my brakes, my front end went down so the gils bumber crushed my hood instead of my bumper. Otherwise I would be hurt. I'm very thankful! Now I just need to pray for the money to pay for this. Thank goodness for insurance.

Halloween!

OK, so this was the greatest thing EVER! It's called a Chicken Mummy and I made it for our party. This was something I had never made before and never tried either. So we were hoping it was good. Let me just say, it's probably the best thing ever and I'm going to be making it a lot more than just for Halloween. The beauty with this is that you don't have to wrap it to look like a mummy. You can just wrap it like a burrito or make it look like a worm or snake. Whatever you'd like. And on top of that, you can put other kinds of meat in it too. It's a totally creative dish and something that can be fun for kids! I'll post the recipe later when I have it on hand. So thankfully not that many people showed up to our party because now I'm left with all the leftovers and that is oh so fine with me!!!

I was a kitty, then I changed my nose later and became a mouse. Don't know why, I just did. I don't have any pictures of Bud because he really wasn't much of anything and we didn't take that many pictures. We should have, but somehow, we just didn't.

YAY for the rain!!

The rain finally came and we were so excited. It wasn't just a sprinkle. It PORED! We needed the rain so bad and it finally came. I love the rainy weather once it finally comes. Heck, i'm just happy when it's overcast. There is just something about it. It makes me want to get into my sweats and snuggle up with my honey in front on the fire with a blanket and hot chocolate! Oh I love it! Thank goodness for rainy days!
