Things I can't wait for

ok, So I have 5 weeks or less left and here are some things that I am so anxious about and can't wait for!

-My baby (obviously)

-a big bowl of cereal

-a giant shake (preferably mint chocolate chip from Baskin Robins)

-a big bagel with cream cheese

-to be able to bend over again

-and to walk normal

-sleep on my stomach

-to stop grunting every time I move

-to hold and kiss Izzy

-to fall in love with my husband even more when I see him melt over his little girl

-to watch our daughter sleep

-hear her cry

-to get to know her personality

and finally, I can't wait to

-be a family of 3! (4 including Son)

We're down to that last stretch!
Oh and she has found my ribs. Only when I lay on my side though. Not a nice feeling.

Our new home and my 8th month belly

Here is our new home. It's kind of bare right now. We went out of town for the weekend and apparently it was a very hot weekend and all the grass in the front died. So we have just re-seeded it and bought flowers to plant to brighten it up a bit.

This is the entry way. I love the tall ceilings and the window above the door.

This is the front room (livingroom) which we don't use just because it's just a big house already and this is a big room. We just don't have any use for it right now. Although Bud and I have talked and that front window area is where we are going to put the Christmas tree this year.

This is a view from the front door looking down the entry hallway. That bifold closet still needs a fresh coat of paint. It's a little crumby looking.

Forgive the mess, but this is what you see once you walk down the entry hallway. It enters into the kitchen and family room area. We haven't purchased blinds/drapes yet either for the slider of the kitchen window. So ignor the tacky sheets that are up right now.

This is the kitchen. Again, sorry for the clutter. It's not always like this.
\
This is the far back bedroom which is Bud's drum room. His drums are in the closet right now because we had to carpets cleaned.

This is the spare bedroom/office. Not completely finished yet. I'm going to add some cool green funky strips to the walls and a sheer window treatment.

Our master bedroom. Nothing has been done to our room yet. It's totally boring and bla right now. We are going to paint and still have to hang things. Nice size room, just really boring right now.

Our master bathroom. Jet tub! Big walk in shower and two sinks! Lovin it! The other sink is on the other wall you can't see. Oh and Bud hasn't hung my mirror yet.

And here is Izzy's bedroom. Still in the makings. All the painting is done and the crib is up, but nothing else is in there yet because we've had Exchange students and one has been rooming in there. They leave tomorrow! Thank goodness!

And finally...my belly. I'm 8 months now and she has already dropped. Can you tell? Well, I sure can! It is painfull! How come no one tells you about the crotch pain at the end of pregnancy? I know about all the other never mentioned things about pregnancy, labor and delivery. But never knew about this pain. Ouch. Well, all I know is time is almost here and we can't wait!

Camping and our travel system

OK, so we've been so busy lately and I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I'm usually better than this. So this will be mostly pictures. We went away this past weekend to go camping up at the lake with many close friends. It was so much fun. Izzy had her first ride on a boat and a wave runner. Not to worry, it was nothing crazy. I wasn't about to go knee boarding or anything! It was fairly hot, but it wasn't so bad at the lake cause we could just hope in and cool off. It was very nice. In the evening, it cooled down and was beautiful. It was the morning time before we launched that it was super hot! But we made it through. So here are the pictures from that. Oh and yes, Bud gave himself a mohawk last minute. He was just going to shave it all off because it was so long and hot, but he decided to surprise the other boys there who also had mohawks. It was funny. But I kinda like it, I'm not going to lie.
(OK, so the pictures are somewhat out of order, but there are too many to go through and re-organize all of them)

This is what Izzy did on the boat

Thanks to Bud's parents, we have our travel system now and we were so excited to have it, Bud put it together last night. Of course, him being a man, he thought he could just put it together with out reading the instructions. His first comment about one of the pieces..."Oh this must be a spare." I said, "babe, they don't make spare parts for strollers and put them in the box. Just read the instructions and figure out what it's for so my stroller doesn't fall apart on me". "It's just a spare babe, trust me." Of course I knew better, but I thought I'd sit back and watch anyways. Sure enough...well, just check the pictures.
