Our stubborn yet beautiful baby girl!

OK, we are so happy to show these pictures! We decided to get a 3D ultrasound done just for the fun of it!! We paid for a 30 minute session that lasted and hour due to the fact the our little girl was folded in half like a little taco for the first 20 minutes. So after lots of moving around, shaking my belly, eating just a little sugar (sshhh, don't tell) and some cold water, we finally were able to get her to unfold. However, then she always had her hands in her mouth. It was ok though. The lady stayed with me for another half hour (at no charge) and we captured some awesome pictures. We discovered that her hands are HUGE (wonder where she gets that?). You'll see them, you can't miss it. She loves to suck on her hands and arms and has the cutest little face ever! We love her so much and it was so fun to see her expressions and details! She's a big girl!!! Not looking forward to the delivery. I'm totally looking forward to holding her, but you know what I mean. So here they are, ENJOY!!

10 more weeks to go!!

OK, so I am now 29 weeks! I can't believe the time has gone by so fast!
Since being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, my numbers have been up and down. Therefore, my doctor is probably going to be putting me on some pills to regulate my numbers. This means she will induce me a week early. I don't have a date for that yet because she wanted to give it another week to see how my numbers were. So by my next appointment I might just have a date! We'll see.
Here is my 29 week belly shot. I feel like I've gotten bigger, but by viewing this weeks picture compared to the last picture, I feel like I look them same. I don't know. Bud says I look bigger, but the pictures look the same to me. I don't know. She's moving an awful lot now. So much to where you can see her movements on the outside. It's fun to just sit and watch my belly do tricks!

We had another ultrasound and was able to double confirm it is still a girl!! We even got a picture this time!! I don't know why the lady didn't give us one last time, but we have one now. The pictures we got this time aren't even worth putting up on here because they are so hard to tell what everything is. We had to shake her up a little to get her to move her legs to see her girly parts. So the picture is very small, but we can see it!
I can't wait for certain things to be over. Not the normal of most pregnant women though. Like, I can't wait to be able to breath normal again. And to get my memory back. That's a big one because all this week I've been thinking of things that I can't wait to pass and knowing that they were weird things, and of course now I can't remember any of them. Every time I would think of something, I would say, "OK, that will go in my list when I blog about it". Now look. Can't remember anything. My memory is shot. More than it normally is. Bud even told me today, "Babe, you're not very observant lately". I know, I know! It's so terrible. I feel like I'm an old person sometimes. I'm losing it!
On a positive note, It's about to be June and every weekend is filled with something so the time is going to fly by and Izzy will be here in no time! We're moving, going camping, having one of my baby showers and getting her nursery all set up! I'm so excited!

A little packing seduction!

No, no. It's not what you think. Like I would talk about that on here! This is a pretty funny story.

OK, so since we are moving soon, I got on Craigslist to try and find some free boxes. I was lucky and found some free boxes, as well as a giant bag of moving paper and bubble wrap. And it was on my way to work, so I drive on over and picked it up off the side of their curb. It's been wonderful because we have a lot more stuff this time around and have been able to pack up most of our stuff, just leaving the bare necessities. So last night, Bud and I were packing up most of our dishes and kitchen things and just leaving a few of what we know we'd use in the next couple weeks. I was getting down to the end of the paper and bubble wrap and thought we'd run out before I finished the last of the dishes. As I came to the bottom of the bag I noticed a t-shirt and thought, "what in the world is this". So we figured they were just using some old clothes to wrap some of their things in (why they decided to throw those in the bag too and give them away is another topic). So, I found 3 shirts a purse and then...I came upon this little thing and we really couldn't figure out why it was in there.

It comes with a book on seduction as well as 2 sexy red tea light candles. There was also another space for something else, but it had been removed. We think it may have been lube or message oil. We got such a kick out of it and of course I had to open it up and read it. So in my most fake, sexiest voice, I read aloud these secrets of seduction. I swear, sometimes I wonder how there can be grown ups in the this world who have no idea on how to kiss or don't know what part of a man or woman's body is the pleasure zone, that they have to go out and buy a book about it. Yes I know, everyone is different, but in todays world it just blows my mind. And also, that they talk about food being so seductive, but lets all face it, if you've tried the food thing, we all know it never turns out to be very seductive and sexy like you read about of see in the media. Been there, done that. By the way, don't bring ice cream into the bedroom. Although if you're looking for a good laugh and some comedic time with your husband/wife, then it might be a good idea!

New house!

OK, so we just found out that we were chosen to rent this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house for $1000/month!!!! That's right. You read that correctly. Only $1000/month for a 4 bedroom house in the Bay Area California! It's all a long story, but on the up and up. We go on Sunday after church to sign the papers and all that.
Bud and I thought we were going to be renting this tiny 2 bedroom/1 bathroom house, but that was rented to someone else right before we got our App in. So it was back to the drawing board on where we were going to live. We are currently in a 1 bedroom apartment and our lease is up on July 20th. However, we are going to be out of town that weekend so we were going to be moving out the weekend before (July 10th). I was online everyday trying to find us a place to live. At least a 2 bedroom, with washer/dryer hookups and preferable a garage of some kind (for Bud's bike and drums). We found some places, but ran into the following problems: it was in the super ghetto; had zero storage or closet space; or was rented out before we could get to it.
So we just weren't having too much luck, but then all of a sudden the other day, I randomly got on and to my surprise there was a listing for this 4 bedroom house in Antioch for $1000 available on July 10th! I thought, oh this must be fake, but I'll email to make sure. The lady responded a few short minutes after that and asked for my contact info. I gave it to her and waited. I left work and when I got home I went to go show Bud and the ad was no longer there. I didn't understand so I emailed her again and ask what happened with it. She called me no more than a minute later and said the reason she had to take it off was because she was getting a million emails and it hadn't even been an hour. So she proceeded to tell me the deal with the house. Long story, but they are in a program with the bank and the just bought a cheaper house and are getting help from their nephew who is a realtor.
Out of all the people that responded, she only showed 5 people the house (Me included, Bud had to work). I saw the place this morning and she said that her and her husband were going to talk about it and they would know by Friday or Saturday who they were going to rent it to. I prayed and left it in the Lords hands that if it was meant to be, then we would get it, if not, then we'd find some place else. I went to work and received a call from Bud saying that he though the lady just called there and for me to call her. So I did and at first it didn't sound good, but then she said, "I talked with my husband and he likes the fact that you guys are young and it would be easier for you to move in 6-12 months if need be rather then a bigger family. Plus he really liked the fact that your husband rides dirt bikes. He thinks that's cool"!
So YAY! We got the house and it is so exciting. We told our family after we got married that when we have kids, that everyone is coming to our house for Christmas regardless of where we live because it was just too hard on us always have to split our day so much. So guess what?? We'll have a baby this year and now we'll have a house to have everyone over! It's so wonderful.
The Lord works in mysterious ways! Bud and I are so thankful that we can bring Izzy home from the hospital to OUR home and be a family!
Pictures to come soon!

Gestational Diabetes

Yup. I have it. Most people would be so worried and freaked out, and I'm not going to lie, at first I was a little taken back. But it's not as bad as most people would think. It's only bad if you don't control it. Plus, the lady told me that my levels were only slightly elevated at the very end. So because of that, they have to treat me like a normal gestational diabetic, because if it were to get worse in the next 3 months, they wouldn't be able to catch it because they only test just this one time.
So basically I just have to watch what I eat and prick my fingers 4 times a day. The good I see in all of this?! First off, I know I can do it, it's not that hard and I know as long as I control it, Izzy will be just fine and totally normal. Second, this forces me to start eating healthy again and getting in the habit of it. I use to be totally healthy and ate nothing bad! I use to run everyday and workout all the time. I was in great shape (if I do say so myself)! So part of me is a little excited to know that this is going to force me to stay away from the junk at all times and eat like I use to. So after I have Izzy, not only will the diabetes go away, but I will already be in the habit of being a health nut again and it will be so much easier to get back into shape! I not only want that for myself, but my husband deserves it and so does our daughter. She needs a mom who has high energy and can keep up with her at all times! I can't believe I let myself get to the weight I am now, or pre-pregnancy. It grosses me out. So I'm excited! I'm sure I'll have my hard moments as this all starts, but it will get so much easier and become second nature again! So here's to going from this:

back to this (I'm on the left)!!

This isn't at my skinniest, but it was close. We were in Cancun, so we were eating all day long! I miss my Tanya.
