11 weeks preggo update!

OK, so first things first, I hardly have a little baby bump, so there won't be a picture quite yet.

In the past 2 weeks or so, my emotions have definitely kicked in. I cry about everything. I watch the simplest, most non-crying movie or show and I just can't hang. I just don't get it! I mean I feel like such a sissy sometimes! I hold back my tears half the time because I think it's just ridiculous!
Another new thing would have to be my eating habits and tummy problems. My stomach has been upset from time to time and has me whining sometimes! Thankfully my husband has been very sweet and lets me sleep as long as I want and doesn't tease me anymore for sleeping all day. I have definitely become a lot more hungry lately, however I can only eat a few bits and then I'm full. So I wake up and I feel like me stomach is eating itself, so I eat something, sometimes I eat too much (not even a lot, but like I said I've learned to only eat a few bits), so then my stomach hurts and about 2 hours later, I'm starving again. I eat all day now, but have learned to snack all day. Come dinner time, I'm never really hungry and I feel bad all the time because Bud and I still cook dinner together and once I sit done to eat, I have a few bits and then I feel totally turned off to eating. It's like all of a sudden I'm grossed out. I don't get it, but all I can do is go along with it for no.
I still have not gone to see the doctor (thanks to the United States wonderful medical services for getting insurance). Since Bud and I have been laid off, we had to sign up for Medi-cal. Thankfully I found out about a program called Healthy Start, which gives me coverage until Medi-cal goes through. I have my first appointment a week from today and then my appointment following that I will be able to finally have my first ultrasound and get to hear and see our little one!
I am just so anxious to see it! It's like I know it's real, but once I see it and hear it, it will be so very real! You know what I mean? I'm just so ready for it! It seems like it's taken forever, and really, it has. If this government would just get it together and have everyone on health insurance in an appropriate way without all small print and shenanigans! Bottom line right now though is that I'm covered and our baby is covered! We'll be just fine and everything will work out wonderfully!
And I promise as soon as I get a visible bump, I'll post a belly shot.

Visiting my angels!

This pass Monday we were finally able to go up and visit Erik and Tanya's little angels. If you don't know the story of Erik and Tanya, read my very first blog.
We've been hit and miss with them and were finaly able to visit on a day that worked for both of us! They are doing so well and we were so happy to see them. I just started crying when I saw them. They too, were so excited to see us. Here are a few pictures of our day! Oh, as well as Bud's new hair, or lack there of.

My two monkeys.

My angel bunch! And my monkey Ethan. Me and Tete taken by Ethan, can you tell by the highth?

It started to snowing and hailing and raining! It was so fun!

Here's Elorah (age 10), driving her little red car around the property. Wouldn't that have been nice to drive at age 10!

Can you tell he put his shoes on by himself?

Here's the kids playing the Wii. It's so funny to watch Ethan!

So Bud and I decided to cut his hair because we have no money and didn't want to spend $20 on a silly hair cut when we can do it ourselves. So this is how it went.

WE NEED SOME HELP!!! ASAP

OK, so some of you may already know, but Bud and I both lost our jobs and we REALLY need some money. We don't have credit cards and don't have a good savings. We're getting some unemployment, but of course, so is everyone else. So obviously it's not as much as when we had jobs. We REALLY REALLY REALLY DO NOT want to have to move out and move in with the parentals. It's just not healthy, we all know this.
We can use all the help we can get. I know a lot of you are out of state and can't really help, but even some advice would be nice.
We are on-line all day long looking at every job search site out there. There just isn't anything. It's so scary right now. So it's almost like you have to know someone in order to get a job. So with that being said, this is what Bud and I are experienced in and if anyone knows of anyone and has any advice on where to maybe look, we would LOVE to know about it. Even if it's just a total temp job. Any extra money right now would be wonderful so we can stay in our own place. Our rent is only $850 so it shouldn't be hard to meet with a little extra income.
So Bud has a lot of experience in construction. He knows how to do ALL kinds of things. He can also pick up on something in seconds if he doesn't quite know. He's your all around handy man! He's also in his last class to get his Certs in Welding!
As for me, I have 5 years of nanny experience. So any kind of child care. I also have experience with twins. I have some experience in cake making as well as some office work. Obviously I can't work doing any kind of heavy lifting because I'm pregnant, but I'm willing to try anything, as long as it's more than $13/hour.
Thank you to everyone who can help. It is so scary out there right now and this life is getting so hard. Any chance we can get to move out of state would be wonderful. But unfortunately you need some money to do that. So hopefully soon would be nice.
Thanks again, and your prays are very much appreciated as well!

New this year!

Well, this new year has been pretty good so far. Filled with lots of laughter and excitment. I figured I'd let this post mostly be pictures because I haven't been able to post them for a little while. So here they are!
This is our new massage chair Bud brought home from a house. It's brand new! We love it!

Son still loves his fires. He gets a lot more into it now though. As you can see.

Father and Son laying by the fire!

Son watching TV!

Son has learned how to get into and on top of new things this year. He drives us crazy, however we're always taking pictures. Bud laughs at me because I'm always telling him "NO-NO" as I reach for my camera. So here are some pictures of his new findings.
In the shower...

On top of the table. A big NO-NO!

In the entertainment center...

In the garbage can...

And son learned how to get on top of the TV! Another Big NO-NO, but not until I could take a picture!

In the laundry basket...

Who knows where we'll find him next.

Pregnancy update:
I'm 8 weeks along right now and we haven't heard the heartbeat yet, because we're still waiting on our insurance to go through (A completely long story). We hope in the next 2 weeks or so, or maybe we'll just get too anxious and go to county real quick just to see and hear it! We'll see. All in all though, everything is going very well. I feel great! I've maybe had a total of 5 times where I've felt any kind of remote nausea. I'm just really sleepy at this point. Everything else (according to me) is great! Hope the doc says the same!

Internet Down

Ok, so I haven't been able to update my blog in a little while because our internet has been acting totally weird. I have pictures I want to put up too. So last night I had just had it with the internet situation and so I called AT&T. Turns out, we have a faulty router. So here I am at the library on my day off because I just can't live without the internet! What did people ever do without it?? I'm so addicted! Well, we should be getting out new router this weekend and I hope the problem is fixed! So by then I can update with all the new pictures!
As far as pregnancy goes, I'll be 8 weeks on Saturday and this week I'm really turned my head to meat. It grosses me out to try and eat chicken and last night we tried to eat some steak and I could only eat a few bits. WEIRD!!! It's not like I get sick or anything, but I just can't eat it. I just feel weird when I try to.
I'm a lot more tired this week too. I just want to sleep all the time! I always out of breath too. Like I do laundry and I feel like I just ran a quick lap.
Over all though, I'm doing good and we're so excited. Bud asks me every week whats going on with the baby now. I think he took a pick a my little week-by-week calender because he said at the beginning of this week, "So your 7 weeks now, right? So he has eyes now??" He was all excited to hear that it's beginning to be more and more human like everyday!
OK, so I think that's all I'm going to update now. I'm hoping to add all the new pictures up this weekend!

Once again, my husband says some hilarious things!

OK, so I just wanted to share another funny thing my husband said. We were sitting around last night relaxing and watching TV. We both had the munchies or a craving for something, but couldn't figure out what we wanted. I think he's starting to have sympathy pregnancy cravings! Anyway, we kept taking turns getting up and looking in the fridge, then the cabinet. We each would end up grabbing something and would bring it back to the couch to eat it. I think we did this for like a hour and a half (not to worry, we weren't eating like crazy or anything). So it got to the point where we felt like nothing was satisfying our craving for "something". So my dear husband says, "Well I guess it's bedtime. There's nothing else to eat." I just laughed so hard. I said, "So that's when it's time to go to bed now, huh? Is when there's nothing else to eat?" We had a good laugh and proceeded to go to bed.
Thought I'd share the funny!

Pregnancy hitting me already

OK, so pregnancy has struck me already, but probably not in the way most people would think. No morning sickness yet, no cravings, no serious mood swings, but boy oh boy have my breast grown! WOW, I would have never thought that I would ever be sporting a size E bra 5 weeks into pregnancy. I can't believe it! This doesn't make me too excited for what the rest of my pregnancy will bring. I mean, at this point, I know I can deal with the morning sickness and my DH (dear husband) I know can deal with the mood swings, I have the time to sleep to rest my super tired body, I can deal with my frequent potty breaks, but come on! How big can these things get?? I'm not sure I can handle getting any bigger. I mean, am I going to have to have specially made bras?? This just might be the one thing that will drive me crazy throughout my pregnancy. I know my DH won't have a problem with it! Oh no, he'll even be super excited about the new maternity/nursing bras. That just might be the new innovated lingerie that has him more excited then ever!
This is all going to be so interesting how things keep changing. I'm just so happy I have a wonderfully loving husband who helps me through everything. He was even so sweet last night and messaged my aching lower back while he read his scriptures. He's so awesome!
More updates and pictures to come (I'm sure of it)!

New and exciting news!

There was suppose to be a video of Bud finding this last Christmas present, but I couldn't get it to load. Which sucks because it's a cute one. Oh well. This will have to do for now untill I figure out how to get it onw here. This gift came to us the day after Christmas. What a perfect Christmas present. We are so excited and can't wait for September to roll around. I'm due September 7. Which kinda sucks only for the fact that I have to be totally pregnant all through summer. Yuck. I'm feeling pretty good right about now. Just a little tired. I don't like ice cream anymore (weird I know. It use to be my favorite)or cheese by itself. But that's it right about now. I'll of course keep everyone up to date and once I start getting a little belly I'll start taking belly shots! A VERY bright line! This baby is serious!
